D-Day is finally here. Yes, from the 1st of October Mauritius is now ready to welcome all vaccinated visitors for an awesome, relaxing, and fun summer on the island.
Even better, with all the investment incentives in force, now is the perfect time to test-drive the destination and find your perfect home on our paradise island.
With more than 850 000 Mauritians being primo-vaccinated, Mauritius remains a safe destination for you and your family. Surfing on this wave of optimism and proactivity, the authorities started the vaccination campaign for those aged between 15 and 17, thanks to the U.S donated Pfizer BioNTech vaccines.
Already launched, the campaign targets 38 025 teenagers from 188 educational institutions.
Wherever you are around the globe, all flights lead to Mauritius….well they should. Alongside Air Mauritius, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Air France, Kenya Airways, British Airways, Air Austral, Lufthansa, Eurowings and Air Belgium amongst others, Mauritius continues to partner with airlines servicing the South African market.
Following the waiver of all restrictions for entry to Mauritius from South Africa from October 2021, FlySafair will soon operate its first flights to Mauritius providing 2 weekly flights. South African Airways, Air Mauritius and Comair South Africa will also connect Mauritius to Johannesburg.
If you are planning a long stay on the island you will be glad to know that more and more activities are now allowed. For example, you will have unrestricted access to fitness centers, markets, social and cultural events, restaurants, bars, casinos, and even the cinema.
Picnics on the beach are also now authorized for groups of up to 30 persons, perfect for those summer time sundowners!
Hesitate no more, book your flights, and come to Mauritius.
The team at Mauritius Sotheby’s International Realty would be delighted to help you find your home, whether for acquisition or rental and share with you in this experience of a lifetime.
