Emirates Strengthens its Route to Mauritius

On the recovery road since the borders opened in October 2021, Mauritius welcomed around 160 000 visitors on the island during the first three months of 2022, a sign of the enthusiasm of foreign tourists and investors to come and visit the island
In response to the high demand and interest in our destination, Emirates airline will operate two daily flights to Mauritius aboard its famous A380 as from the 1st of July 2022 
Emirates will also increase its flight’s frequency from one daily flight to nine weekly flights between the 9th of April 2022 and June 2022, until they shift to two daily flights as from July 2022

One Million Visitors in 2022

While the authorities expect one million visitors in 2022, the additional flights of Emirates will provide a wider choice of schedules for travelers from Europe and the Middle East among others, who wish to travel to Mauritius.
Also, apart from Emirates, other airlines including British Airways, Air Mauritius, Air France, Austrian Airlines, and Turkish Airlines, also connect to the Sir Seewoosagur International Airport, with dozens of weekly flights.
