Coming from a strong marketing background and with the experience of leading a sales team in South Africa, it’s now been 11 years since Lee and her family chose to call Mauritius home. 

Lee joined the Mauritius Sotheby’s International Realty team in July 2020:

“I love client interaction, bringing people together, and helping them find the right property. From past experience I knew that bringing people and properties together came naturally to me.”

Before moving to the island, Lee lived in Johannesburg where she and her husband Chris ran their own real estate agency. They also had their own guest house, which she admits with fondness, kept her quite busy.

“Before all that, my experience as marketing manager and in customer care helped grow and strengthen my already strong call to client based interaction.’

Now part of the Mauritius Sotheby’s International Realty team, looking back, she can tell that her life adventures have contributed significantly to her acute sense of communication and her ability to listen and understand her client’s needs.

Concentrating in the Northern part of the Island, Lee is passionate about her work:

“My experiences this far have given me a good understanding of the market, and my ability to pick up on market trends is a distinct advantage. Knowing that our lead time is very short, especially in the rental market, you might lose a client if you procrastinate too long. For me, fast and immediate action is paramount.”

Determined to make the most of her life in Mauritius, Lee enjoys exploring the outdoors in her free time and is always up for an adventure.

“Boating with my family, hiking the beautiful mountains of Mauritius or cycling around the island with my friends or husband is what I love to do!”
